2026 Pike View Hike

 

Based at Bibby’s Farm Camp Site and after 6-months of planning and preparation, the 23rd annual Pike View Hike will be taking place over the weekend of the 24th-26th April 2026, with the hikes taking place on the Saturday.

Teams of 4 Cubs (who hike with an adult), Scouts or Explorers will be testing their stamina and skills to navigate around one of 3 section dependant routes and attempt challenges at each checkpoint along their route.

We still have places available in the Scout and Cub events and would encourage Groups to enter teams as soon as possible. There’s still time to organise practice hikes to give teams recent experience prior to the actual event taking place.

Teams can be booked onto the event via the Pike View Hike web site at: www.cloud.pikeviewhike.co.uk where you can also see the Invite Letter, Rules and a Sample Route Card.

For teams entering by the 13th March 2026 there is an early bird entry fee of £80 per team; for teams entering after the 13th March but prior to the closing date, the entry fee is £90 per team. The entry fee covers Bibby’s Farm camping fees and the event running costs, medals, prize money and emergency safety cover/vehicles.

We also need to find around 60 volunteers to man checkpoints to make everything work well. Could we ask anyone who is available to volunteer on a checkpoint from just a few hours to all day, to please fill out our volunteer form at Pike View Hike 2026 – Fill in form. We can make it work around everyone's availability.

Please also pass this form onto any parents who might want to get involved, it’s a good way to introduce potential new volunteers to what Scouts is all about.
