Future Leaders Programme 2017 – second Selection Event added

8 April 2017

We are really proud that our County has been chosen to partner with the National Training team to deliver the second ever Future Leaders Programme run by the Scout Association!

We are limited to 20 places on the programme, if you would like to be considered fill in the application now!

This programme is designed for Adult Volunteers that would like to hold senior volunteer management roles within Scouting in the future.
These roles include Group Scout Leader and District Commissioner, they also include National level roles such as County Commissioner, Regional Commissioner and National Commissioner.

The programme is NOT Scout training as you will have seen it before, the programme WILL NOT result in a Wood Badge.
This programme has been put together with a well known Business School and has been designed to building on Leadership and Management skills.  Whilst many skills learnt in Scouting can also be used in life, the skills covered in this programme would be useful in the Workplace, as support for applications for Academic study and for life in general.

The Application must be supported by your Line Manager in Scouting, depending on your role this could be a Group Scout Leader, District Commissioner, Deputy County Commissioner or County Commissioner.

A second Selection Event is running on 4th July, this will be the last opportunity to apply for a place with final applications closing on 7th July

Forms must be emailed to: adult.support@scouts.org.uk
